Before i start this i just want to state that my way with words is pretty god awful and most of the times i put my foot in my mouth. Its something i wish i was much better at, mainly for songwriting purposes. So this is just an experiment. Nothing to be taken seriously.
Running into nothing
Crawls to the door
open please
wont go thru the keyhole
Dont know what to do
wonder if she will listen
my headphones are missing
fearless i can be with my eyes closed
my lower flip out dive thru its own being
does not compute
life is strange
strange is life
drums cant help
but dreams can prevail

Psychedelic Dream
So i've been a fan of 60's music since birth. Sadly i wasnt around in the 60's and i truely feel like i was born in the wrong era. I have a feeling my life would be alot different and maybe someone would be writing a blog about my great psychedelic albums of the past. I'm a fan of different types and genre's of music but for some reason i can never get over how amazing almost every rock album from the period 1966-1968 is beyond perfection. At the end of this little rant, which by the way isnt to be taken too seriously. I'm no music critic nor am i someone to tell you or anyone whats cool. FAR from it. So my reasons for why this era is music is just perfect. Rock N Roll was what about 10 or so years old at this point. Its still a baby, So young, So naive and around 65 everyone was opening the door to what 90 percent of music still cant close or should really. I listen to albums from 66-67 and the sounds i hear on them are to my ears more groundbreaking that anything any computer or synth or anything in 2011 could ever produce! The breakthru in music production are still being felt and re-produced today. Discovering things such as phasing, echo's and insane outerspace reverb units, Backwards recording. The list goes on and on. Also the bands then had nothing to lose, unlike 2011, Rock musicians signed to the major labels were given this thing called CREATIVE FREEDOM which is something that isnt allowed unless your a indie artist and even then you have certain factors your locked into. Any musician could write about anything or play in any style they chose or experiment freely with sound. And most of the most intense albums in my mind from that era on now known as some of the greatest rock recordings ever made. I'd like to see anything fall out boy, or creed or any dubstep, emo, pop punk creeps put out be looked at this fondly 30 or 40 years later. I could go on and on and i feel myself going in endless directions with this so i will leave it at that. 1966-1968 FOREVER.

The Return
Hello everyone in blogland. Its been awhile since i've said anything to you. I kinda lost hope in the whole blog concept but with the encouragement of one Amber Rose, i've decided to give it another chance.
My blog is a music blog which will focus mainly on whatever i'm digging at the moment and my own music. Since its been a few months since i've written anything here i will bring you up to speed as to what's been going on in my world. Since my last post i've released a new album called "Drawing A Blank" Link at the bottom of the page. The album has been out for a few weeks now, Got a few sales and lots of positive feedback on the music. BIG NEWS!!!!!! The album will be reviewed/mini interview on my friend's blog "DirtySexyKarma" Not sure when it will be up but i will keep you posted. Some of you may know that i play drums in a band called Cody Stagefright, We are currently working on our new ep "Pink Iguana" which will be released on april 16th. We are currently working on the mixing of the ep and also planning our ep release show. Staying super busy with both the band and working on spreading the word on the solo stuff. Submitting my album to some blogs etc etc. Will see what happens. So excited for my first write up though, cant wait! It seems like i'm forgetting so many things that have happened since my last post but i will leave you with this. Thanks for reading and for your support!
